Samsung accounts require 'Email verification' in order to prevent users from fraudulently using someone else's email address to sign up. You will not be able to activate the account or use the integrated services normally until you complete the email verification process. A Samsung account is only activated when the owner of the registered email address clicks the 'Account verification' link that is sent to them.

After you sign up for a Samsung account, you will receive a verification email. Please follow the process below in order to complete email verification.

1. Go to your inbox.

2. Open the email from ‘Samsung account’ and either press the ‘Account Verification’ button in the email, or copy the URL and paste it into your web browser.

- If you can't find the email from 'Samsung account' in your inbox, please check the spam mail box, because the email may inadvertently have been marked as spam.
- If you want to receive the verification email again:
1) On your mobile device (Smartphone, Tablet)
- Tap the relevant link on your device (Link: 'If you want to receive verification email again, tap here')
2) On the web page (PC, Mobile web browser, etc.)
- Click the 'Sign in' button on the web page that you want to use. When you attempt to sign in to your Samsung account, you will see a message stating that your account is not yet verified, together with a 'Resend' button. Click the 'Resend' button.

3. Complete the final step for email verification.
1) On your mobile device (Smartphone, Tablet).
- Devices with Android OS: Tap the 'Activate account' button on your device screen.
- Devices with bada 2.0 OS: Tap the 'Sign in' button on your device screen, and then sign in with your Samsung account.
2) On the web page (PC, Mobile web browser, etc.)
- Click the 'Sign in' button on the web page that you want to use, and then sign in with your Samsung account.

If you didn't get the verification email sent by Samsung account, check your spam mailbox. If you still can't find the verification email, you can get the verification email again by following these steps:

1) Tap the relevant link on your smartphone or tablet. If you attempt to sign in to your Samsung account before the account has been verified, you will see a link that you can use to resend the email (either 'If you want to receive verification email again, tap here' or 'Cannot find verification email?').
2) Click the 'Resend' button on the PC website. If you attempt to sign in to your Samsung account on the Samsung account website (http://account.samsung.com) before the account has been verified, you will see a 'Resend' button that you can click to receive the verification email again.

If you have received several verification emails, then the email that was sent last is valid.

If you want to check whether the email verification process has been completed successfully, please try to sign in to any service using the Samsung account that you've registered. If you are able to sign in and use Samsung services, then the account has been verified successfully.

 

If the verification appears to have been completed successfully, but you still can't use the services normally, please contact Customer Services (help.content.samsung.com > Contact us).
